Your right to deletion

Hu Med stores personal information you give us when you order from humed.lk, create an account, or message us on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

How to request deletion

  1. Email privacy@humed.lk with the subject “Data deletion request”.
  2. Include the phone number and/or email address you used with us, so we can find your records. If your request is about WhatsApp, include the WhatsApp number you messaged us from.
  3. We may ask you to confirm you own that number or email before we delete anything.
  4. We will delete your data and confirm by email or WhatsApp, normally within 30 days.

What we delete

  • Your account profile, saved addresses and loyalty points
  • WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram message history we hold about you
  • Newsletter subscription and marketing preferences

What we may need to keep

Where the law requires it, we keep order, invoice and payment records for tax and accounting purposes. When we keep a record, we remove or anonymise the personal details that aren’t needed for that purpose.
