Buying guide: Thermometers in Sri Lanka

A digital thermometer gives a quick, easy reading to check for fever. Hu Med sells digital clinical thermometers such as Genial and Berrcom, and room thermometers that show maximum and minimum temperature.

Choose a model you find easy to read and clean, and use it as described in its instructions. A temperature of 38 °C (100.4 °F) or above is generally considered a fever — see a doctor if you are worried.
